ABOUT

Built from a real problem.

Laminar wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from someone trying to make his own working life easier.

HOW IT STARTED

A personal tool, not a startup idea.

Laminar's founder built an initial version of the product — not to launch a company, but to solve a problem he was living with every day. What started as a personal tool quickly revealed something bigger: other contractors and field workers were dealing with many of the same frustrations.

WHAT WE NOTICED

The problem wasn't a lack of software.

It was that important information was scattered across systems that weren't designed around the people actually doing the work. Vehicles, inspections, maintenance, expenses, and location information could all live in different places — making everyday operations harder to understand and manage than they needed to be.

WHAT LAMINAR DOES

Built to bridge the gap, not replace what already works.

Rather than replacing the routing and operational systems companies already rely on, Laminar is designed to complement them — providing the visibility and tools that are often missing. It brings the information contractors and drivers actually need into a clearer, more accessible experience.

"Technology should reduce friction, not create more of it."

Laminar is being built from firsthand experience, with one goal: taking a solution that made one person's work easier and making it accessible to others facing the same challenges. This isn't about building the biggest fleet platform — it's about identifying the problems that get overlooked, understanding the people who live with them every day, and building something genuinely useful.

Laminar: built from a real problem, designed for the people solving it.
